BROOKE HANSON

Olympic gold and silver medallist Brooke Hanson remains one of Australia's most recognised Olympians. Brooke is a much sought-after corporate motivational speaker, MC, television and radio presenter as well as key note presenter.

Brooke made her debut for the Australian Swimming Team in 1994 before going on to represent Australia over 25 times at major international championships.

Her career highlight came in 2004, when, after missing two Olympic teams, she won Olympic gold and silver medals at Athens Olympic Games.
Brooke claimed several podium finishes throughout her career including the 2004 World Short Course Championships where she made history, winning a record six gold medals.

Brooke’s work on the TV Week Logie winning show “What’s Good for You” earned her a nomination for best new female talent. In 2010 Brooke joins fellow presenter Tim Smith in series six of Discover Downunder.

Brooke adds another dimension to corporate conferences as a sportsperson, motivator and speaker. Brooke is an experienced MC hosting award ceremonies, black tie balls, breakfasts, anniversary dinners, presentation nights, award dinners, launches and publicity events.

After 13 years as a member of the Australian swimming team Brooke provides the audience on the motivational speaking circuit with a behind the scene’s insight of her journey to reaching her Olympic dream.

Since her retirement from competitive swimming Brooke released her autobiography ‘When Silver Is Gold’ The Brooke Hanson Story and loves to share her inspirational story with everyone she meets.

In 2009 Brooke became a mum to son Cooper and continues to balance her blooming professional media career with advertising campaigns for sponsors, appearances, swim clinics, charity work and her commitment to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle for all Australians.

 

TIM SMITH

Comedy with power is what this man is! Tim has successfully traversed the comedy world, leaping from sell out shows at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival to hosting top rating radio breakfast shows to appearing on television shows such as 20 to 1.

The last couple of years saw Tim co-hosting MIX 101 FM’s breakfast show Tracy and Tim for Breakfast and his full time involvement from 1993 to 2005 with Triple M established Tim as one of the mainstays on FM radio. Tim has a strong history in radio and over the past 15 years has been involved in no.1 rating shows such as The Richard Stubbs Breakfast Show and Timbo & Bedder’s. He created and co-hosted The Cage for the drive and breakfast shifts on Triple M and created the Saturday morning show The Dead Set Legends.

His vitality and reliability to please any crowd, any time, led him to being one of the original creative forces behind Channel Ten's legendary Comedy Company, the television show which more than any other raised mass public awareness of new wave comedy.

Just to add another talent to his repertoire, Tim recently became a pilot, flying around the country solo in between his performing commitments.
