What is the best way to get rid of the the new plastic / rubber taste from a water tank. I have flushed out my camper trailer tank many times with water but still the water smells and tastes like plastic. Has anyone got any suggestions? Cheers.

I have found Bi-carb soda to be a good product to take the plastic taste out of new items- Plastic kettles, plastic water bottles. Depending on the size of the container, would put 1 desertspoon full mixed in hot water in a bottle and swish it around & let stand for 30 minutes, then flush clean. It may help in this case.
