Hi,
We have a 1984 coaster so not quite as old as yours. Some parts have been easy to source(radiator) others impossible.(we use a mechanic)We have had parts modified(cables),as improvements have been made to original parts, and others repaired(harmonic balancer)by engineering shop. The balancer was ordered from Japan but after 8 weeks the wrong part arrived and they decided they could repair it.
Generally our bus has been good over the 3 years we've had it. Great to travel in!

just sold mine after 17 years it had a 186 holden eginee 4 speed column change 136 litre lpg tank used 25 ltrs per 100km -pop top
regularly inspected and maintained it was very very reliable.
never had trouble getting parts when needed no gearbox or diff problems and i reckon it would climb a brickwall
cruise at 95ks is about right but better fuel at 85-90
