Woo Hoo!!!! Our new Jayco Expanda finally arrived and we took off for a trip to the ACT with our 3 children. This was a bit of a practice run for our "big trip" next year (2009) when we're taking the kids out of school for a term and doing a tour of New South Wales and Queensland.We've only been back 3 weeks and already we're itching to head off again.
It was so much fun and SO luxurious after having spent the last decade travelling in a camper trailer. We still love our camper trailer but having a sink and built in fridge, cupboards and so forth. It makes travelling life so much easier (especially the food preparation).
I thought we'd struggle to find enough room for our gear with 5 of us but it's amazing how much you can fit in those things!
