Shazzy May and Co finally got to go to Kapunda on the long weekend in June and what a delightful caravan park they have there. It is a very laid back park but that is what we like and there is plenty of bird life because of all the trees around the park. The vistior information centre is also an excellent place full of wonderful information and great staff. We took our push bikes this time and had great fund riding around the area. The weather was kind to us on the Saturday for our ride around the area. Sunday was overcast but still very pleasant and we again ventured out on the push bikes and had a barby at the park. When it did rain we ventured into the museum there and what a delight it is one of the best museums we have been to and spent nearly three hours there taking in all they had absolutely brilliant and if anyone is going to Kapunda please take the time to visit this place and it also a great price to enter will fit anyones budget. Monday we packed up and then went for a drive to the Kapunda mine and did the walk which was also enjoyable. Lots more to see and do and we had a lovely weekend and will certainly return as it isn't too far to go for a quick trip. You can be active and relax at the same time at Kapunda
