One thing about our travel habits ,is that we are very connected to the sea and coastal regions .We all share the unique opportunity to be able to experience and do so many things that others in the world can only dream about .

So why not, while camped  at a stream, river ,or in one of  the many parks by the sea,  decide to take a walk , take the rod and pack let's go and explore.

Spin fishing today with the new, light weight balance combos makes carrying a rod and real easy .Along with the development of artificial bait (plastic's, lurers ) the need for fresh bait is now not a issue, so a walk with rod in hand, is a simple thing to do for it's not really about catching a fish, but you most likely will.

What's it about you may asked then?  It's about looking within the greater landscape, the things ones sees while looking at the world with a macro lens mind set .This just happens when spin fishing, while you are looking for that fishy spot ,you know that dip there, channel here ,rising tide on the flats chasing that Flathead, while other mini landscape's emerge out at us. The bird's, animal's ,sounds and smells, while constantly seeing new events unfolding before us for the first time.

Challenge yourself ,the next warm sunny day ,grab the rod and go for a walk ,take a closer look at  Australia's hidden treasures .
