Well our first trip to Brighton was a success, our old little van did us proud, (even though some people laughed at it) there are only a few things we will change inside the van. We did not get in each other's way at all and it felt very natural to us to be in the van. The caravan park we stayed at was right on the beach front, and was clean with reasonable facilities and not too expensive. We enjoyed the walk along the beach on both days (one day in between the rain). We were lucky enough to spot a dolphin as we were walking along the Brighton Jetty. It was stormy and wet on and off on the weekend but we did enjoy the R & R and the fish and chips by the beach. I actually think the beach is the best place to be in the cold and wet. We are now planning our next jaunt which at this stage looks like Kapunda in May sometime.
