| 6 months in a Winnebago | | Wendy's Wander
| By Wendy Close on15/02/2010 3:53 p.m. | |
| | We have been travlleling mainly in NSW since June 2009 in our Winnebago on our "Working Holiday". So far we have been nearby when our 2 newest granddaughters were born, we have had jobs in bulk wheat handling near Moree, blueberry picking near Coffs Harbour, and are now working in the Buttercup bakery at Tamworth for the Easter bun rush! We are amazed about the low cost of living this lifestyle. We have made some amazing new friends and been able to stay in remote, unspoilt campsites. Goondiwindi, Moree and Roma are 2 hours away, 4 hours will get you to Toowoomba, Armidale or Bourke...Brisbane, Gold and Sunshine Coasts, Emerald and Tamworth are app 6 hours easy drive..There are plenty of beautiful motels in St George to accomodate several hundred people in total. | | |

| Perfect weekend | | Bretti Reserve
| By gregmiller on12/10/2009 7:51 p.m. | |
| | My partner of 13 years and I finally decided to take quality time and go camping. We found this nice little spot near Gloucester NSW called Bretti Reserve. We had the most fantastic time that we are now planning a second trip to the reserve. The best thing about this spot was that we run our own business and find it hard to get away from mobile phones and customers. We found out this is not a problem here as there is no phone coverage so it was a quite and relaxing weekend. | | |
