Hi everyone,
We have just purchased an 06 Pajero 3.8l gas/petrol to tow our 17ft 6in Windsor. Has anyone else used a similar set up to tow around OZ? If so, would love to hear how you fared with locating gas outlets outside of metro areas.

Not bad. My XF ute had 465,000k on her when traded in and a large chunk of those were towing a 18ft van around Australia. About 8 times around in various directions over the years. Keep up the good work and change the oil often.
Cheers,
Alan

I had a 97 3.5l gas/petrol Pajero in front of a Coromal 535. Did 2 trip around Oz, had no trouble getting gas on the bitumen but on the Central Road from Laverton to Ayers Rock I had to run Avgas, (pre Opal days) Only problem was the cost of gas which was often over the dollar mark in the remoter places and this was back in 03.

Cheers,
Alan.

Hi. We have a 2006 Ford Territory RWD and thinking of buying a 17'0" to 18'6" full van. Has anyone else towed with the same vehicle and any hints, comments, etc would be appreciated. Thnking you, Kathryn.
