Hi folks, for our next road trip (with caravan in tow), my wife and I are tossing up between Coffs Harbour in NSW, or maybe going up further to Byron Bay. We love the beach and have been to neither place. All our reading suggests both places have great beaches, but which are better for walking??

I reckon you can't go wrong with Byron Bay for beach walks - never been to Coffs, though. Byron has heaps of good places to eat, and the people are really friendly, too.

Another option is Brunswick Heads. It is a short drive north of Byron Bay. We pull the caravan into a riverside site in the park beside the boat harbour, and walk everywhere. The surf beach is within walking distance of two caravan parks.
