Seal Bay Conservation Park, Kangaroo Island, SA
The wildlife on Kangaroo Island is one of the true drawcards, and Seal Bay Conservation Park shouldn’t be missed.  Here’s your chance to view seals in their natural habitat of coastal vegetation, dunes, beach and ocean. For a few dollars you can use the boardwalk and lookout to watch them play and surf. It’s a treat to get this close to these impressive creatures. If you feel like splashing out, you can follow a guide on a tour of the beach environment, learn more about the seals and get even closer. For information on how to get to Kangaroo Island, phone SeaLink on13 13 01 or visit www.sealink.com.au For information on the Seal Bay Conservation Park, phone (61 8) 8559 4207 or visit www.environment.sa.gov.au/parks/sanpr/sealbay By Iain Curry, extracted from Island of Plenty, as featured in Camper Trailer Australia issue 16, June/July 2008.
