By joining the program travellers are able to access numerous volunteering opportunities with local community natural resource management (NRM) groups throughout Queensland to undertake activities, including community education and manual labour based activities such as tree planting, while they travel around our beautiful state.

What's involved?
Joining the program involves paying an annual subscription, which gives volunteers access to a 'member only' section of this website, and where they can browse and register to attend volunteering events that fit in with their travel itineraries.

To celebrate the launch of Green Nomads we are currently offering a 2 for 1 special on all new subscriptions. When you first sign up you will be given an extra years membership for free. This offer is only valid until the end of August 2009.
