Minimax Satellite Dish
Minimax Satellite Dish

Catching our eye at the Adelaide Caravan and Camping Show 2010 was the new Mini Max portable satellite dish, suitable for both free-to-air TV (and radio) and pay TV.

Supplied with a padded carry bag, this lightweight, go-anywhere unit does away with a heavy tripod and looks very simple to store. It weights just 4kg and comes with a 65cm or 75cm Mini Max dish which sits directly on the ground on its own triangular base.

Also included with the kit is an engraved LNB, 15m/6m/1.5m co-ax cable, digital satellite finder, liquid-filled compass and an external weatherproof wall plate. For free-to-air TV the full kit includes a Strong decoder and Optus Smartcard.
At the show, Mini-Compact (www.minicompact.com.au) was selling the full Mini Max kit for $675 and the pay TV kit for $415.
