We have campervans, motor homes and caravans all hitched up and raring to go! For breathtaking views, Karijini National Park is renowned for them. This, the second largest national park in the state, is steeped in ancient history. The caretakers of this spectacular area are proud of their ancestry and the land they protect. With two billion year old gorges, water courses and plateaux. Dramatic chasms up to 100metres deep, teeming waterfalls, cascading pools, peaceful hidden gardens and abundant wildlife. We spent sometime with the custodians of this land and they take the job of protecting it very seriously. Places of great spiritual and cultural significance, the people ask that you respect their beliefs. Camping is available within the Karijini National Park at Dales Gorge. The unique Karijini Eco Retreat offers a broad range of specially designed nature based tours, accommodation and camp sites. A great place to stop and kick back is Mt Florance Station, situated between Karijini and Millstream. Over 20,000 tourists visit the Millstream Chichester National Park, and it's not hard to see why. Come between April and September, when there is little rain and warm day-time temperatures. Shady camping areas can be found near Crossing Pool and Deep Reach, but there are no formal accommodation facilities within the park. On next week's show the convoy rallies for the final leg of the Warlu Way. Karratha and beyond beckons. And a reminder to get your entries into our competition by 25th March, and you could be the lucky owner of a Kimberley Kamper.
