Locks Well is a great place to break up your journey, with fabulous lookouts, fantasic salmon fishing and breathtaking views. With a fantastic staircase down to the beach.
A little romance is discovered in the seaside village of Elliston.
Mt Wuddina is steeped in ancient history.
You'll find untouched wilderness in the Gawler Ranges National Park. With walking trails, and bbq's, it caters well for the weary traveller.
A popular area for recreational touring and bushcamping and historical and archaeological sites to explore.
Kimba plays an important role as the eastern gateway to the Ranges.
With vast open spaces and a special photo opportunity.
This is the half way mark across Australia. However it is not the only attraction. At 8 metres high a giant galah keeps watch over the town and its visitors.
For the blokes out there who love their sheds, we have found the ultimate and will have you reaching for the tools to renovate your own backyard shed!
Off to Whyalla, home to 22,000 people and blessed with more than 300 days of sunshine.
An incredible phenomenen occurs here, with the spawning of the luminescent cuttlefish.
Divers from Australia and around the world visit Whyally to witness the specatacle.
Known as the 'Cuttlefish Capital of the World' this town is experiencing an enourmous boost in tourism.
And a long way from the Murray river is a new home for the Murray Cod.
A group of enthusiast students from the Stuart High School are learning valuable skills in life.
They are your guides, and visitors will learn all aspects of breeding, lifecycle and feeding patterns of the Murray Cod.
Their research and training will help to sustain the fish and their long term survival.
